In January 2001, dance groups “Venecek” and “Furiant” began to prepare program for 2001 Folklorama. Practices of the older group, 16 years and older, commenced Sunday, January 14 with ten dancers in attendance. Younger group is also begining to form with their first practice held Sunday, January 21. The rehearsals for both groups will continue to be held on Sundays with the younger group at 7:00-8:00PM and older group at 8:00 - 9:00 PM, at the CCBA hall, 154 McKenzie St. If your children are interested in the rehearsals and to perform in the Czecho-Slovak Pavillion 2001 please send an e-mail to Mrs. Vladka Zvonikova at: Venecek & Furiant
“V lednu 2001 tanecni skupiny Venecek a Furiant zacal pripravovat program na Folkloramu 2001. Nacvik tancu starsi skupiny zacal minulou nedeli 14. ledna (January). Ve starsi skupine 16+ je deset tanecniku. Mladsi skupina se teprve formuje. V nedeli 21. ledna se uz bude konat nacvik tancu obou skupin. Mladsi skupina 7:00-8:00 p.m. Starsi 8:00-9:00 p.m. v hale jednoty na 154 McKenzie St. Uvidime, kolik se ukaze deti.
